What was the highlight of Nicon Luxury Abuja
It was meant to be memorable but the shortcomings listed above rubbed off badly on the good staff
The location remains one of the best in the city. The staff are courteous and fantastically customer-centric.
Internet is not available. Hot water does not run in the bath. The showers do not work and a bucket was put in the bathroom for guest to fetch water. For a hotel of that standard, it is appalling. Some lights in the bathroom are equally not working.

Total letdown
I liked the location. In the heart of the city and secure
Hotel looks like a museum. Obviously a shadow of its great former self. No Internet at all. The hallways have a certain odour. The rooms are old with worn-out bed spreads. No hot water in the shower. Had to be brought by bucket, by hand. Food had very limited options and tasted mis-spiced. Tiny TV and very not clear. Staff look tired and uninterested in the job. They try to smile but it shows. Lifts are falling apart. Wires visibly hanging. Everything screams of poor maintenance and apathy from the management. The hotel is over hyped and over priced. For as long as I can see, I will not be coming back.
